Enjoy a delicious, expertly prepared plant-based meal. Plus warm teas and herbal water to hydrate and nourish from the inside out.
Floor to ceiling glass windows and a private terrace give us access to the network of trails and pristine woodlands that surround the state-of-the-art Community Recreation & Environmental Center (CREC).
Nothing soothes the soul more than time in cherished community. Plenty of time to connect - eat, walk and rest together.
Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that the key to good health is the balance between Yin and Yang within our bodies, as well aligning with nature's cycles and seasons. Yoga philosophy, as well, invites us to remember that we are not separate from the natural world but an integral part of it. By aligning with the rhythms and wisdom of nature, we can attain a deeper sense of spiritual connection, inner peace and overall well-being.
The Fall Season serves as a transition period to help attain that balance as we move from the most Yang (active, bright, warm, outward) time of year - Summer - into the most Yin (restful, dark, cold, inward) time of year, Winter. While Autumn is all about clearing out, emptying and letting go of what doesn’t serve us, Winter is all about nourishing, strengthening and filling up our reserves to help us through the darker, colder months.
AcuYoga Session #1
In our first session, practice will focus on the concepts of clearing and emptying out the body and mind. In order to receive the benefits of nourishment, we must have space for it and a willingness to accept it. Inspired by the lesson of Fall and all it teaches us about change and letting go, we'll move through a purifying practice that releases physical tension, emotional buildup and energetic stagnancy via gentle movement, yin yoga poses, acupuncture points and pranayama exercise.

AcuYoga Session #2
The second session will utilize nourishing acupuncture points whose function is to simultaneously combat fatigue while also building ‘Qi’ (chi/prana), blood and fluids. Combined with Moxibustion (moxa) , an ancient practice of thermal heat therapy utilizing ground, dried mugwort leaves which are burned therapeutically over the body, the points utilized will nurture the whole body at a deeper level aiding in the relief of burnout and long standing exhaustion. Practice will incorporate Qi Gong, restorative yoga poses, and breathing exercises designed to leave you feeling rested, renewed and clear.
