Maura's classes are breath focused and challenging, encouraging a deepening of the physical and spiritual sides of the practice while also inviting critical thinking about how to show up in the world more empowered and engaged. Maura is known for helping students hold "the tension of opposites", the charms and challenges of life, and living into the "both/and" of our experiences.

These free classes are being offered in direct response to the current state of a world and the uncertain times we are living in, to support both self-care and community care - to help you get grounded, regulate and nourish the nervous system and process your experience. Maura's classes draw from both her yoga and non-yoga trauma-informed trainings, incorporating specific movement and breath techniques that will help you feel more oriented, centered and present. Donations welcome to Yoga Home. Class is appropriate for every body; 45 minutes followed by optional community check-in.
Designed to stress the connective tissues of the body within their natural range of motion, over an extended period of time, to create openness and health in the ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Yin yoga also works to train the quality of the mind’s concentration and harmonize the flow of prana (energy) in the body. Appropriate for everyone. A great compliment to a more vigorous practice. Great for all levels of students, even beginners.
