The chakras are a map on our inner journey and can help empower us to live more aligned and integrated lives. An understanding of the subtle realms of our being brings us into deeper relationship not only with ourselves but with each other and the world around us, as well. Discover and illuminate your most authentic self!
Through lectures, thoughtful community discussions, yoga practices and practical applications, Maura will help you dive deep into this material in a grounded and approachable way. Expect to have a deeper understanding of subtle anatomy, the chakra system and yourself by the end of our four weeks together.
Maura has been studying and working with the chakra system for over 15 years primarily through the work of Seane Corn and Anodea Judith. Incorporated in all her teacher trainings and the majority of her classes (though more subtly), Maura uses the chakra model as a framework for developing practices, facilitating personal growth work and deepening spiritual practices.
It is recommended that students have at least 1 year of experience with a consistent yoga practice. Practices each week will be different, incorporating different styles of asana practice, meditation techniques, pranayama exercises, etc. Variations will be offered but students should also feel confident adapting the practice to their needs. Chakra work can be fun and playful, and it can be deep and transformative.
If you have questions whether or not this immersion is appropriate for you, please don't hestitate to reach out. Email Maura
